When I introduced our service on this blog I spoke about Getting to San Ignacio. In this post I will talk about getting to Placencia via grond transfer or shuttle. While Placencia is accessible by Air its a whopping $94.50US per person one way just to get there.
A private car transfer with other companies is in the vicinity of $250-$300US for up to 6 persons. So it can be expensive if you are traveling single or a couple. we have again broken the price and service barrier by providing a daily reliable shuttle from Belize City to Placencia for $55US/person one way or $100US/person R/T. Imagine for a one way flight to Placencia in a small airline you can go round trip to Placencia, enjoy amazing scenery and travel Belize with Belize Shuttles and Transfers.
Or if you provide to leave as you arrive in Belize Airport then for up to 4 persons we will take you for $180US the price of a 2 person ticket.

Getting to San Ignacio from Belize Airport
Welcome to the Belize Shuttles and Transfers Blog. We are excited about our service and want to share as much information as possible about what we offer and how easy it can be to travel within Belize.
The first portion of this blog will discuss the difficulties faced with getting to San Ignacio from Belize Airport and Belize City.
As you may have found out that San Ignacio is the only major tourist location in Belize that does not have daily local flights to or from and so land or ground transportation dominates travel to San Ignacio. Belize Shuttles and Transfers service was developed to assist travelers especially during this difficult economic period to get access to affordable transportation to San Ignacio.
Our Shuttles is a good alternative to the bus, private taxi or private transfer from the Hotel or Resort. We have 3 departure times from San Ignacio and from Belize City each with one more from the city being added in November of 2009.
Our San Ignacio shuttles prices. Do you know that a taxi from the Airport to Belize City Bus Terminal is already $25US and then you have to take the bus from there for another 2.5hrs of non air-condition travel with luggage.
